The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center
 The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center is committed to providing expert compassionate care while continuously pursuing the newest discoveries in cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cures of tomorrow.
The team includes experienced providers in the fields of medical and surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and more. Experts work together to provide all patients a complete approach to care.
The Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center reaches out to the community by offering cancer screenings, public education programs, and other free services to help educate all people about cancer prevention, early detection and new advances in care.
Coaches vs. Cancer®
 Coaches vs. Cancer® is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. Coaches vs. Cancer has raised nearly $40 million since its inception to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer as a life-threatening disease.
Where does the money raised go?
Ten thousand dollars of the funds raised will go to support the work of Coaches vs. Cancer® with the balance of proceeds directed to the UConn Foundation, Inc. for the benefit of The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at the UConn Health Center.
